COURSE CONTENT Basic Practical
  • Fourteen (14) hours across Two (2) Classroom Sessions & Four (4) Shooting Sessions
  • NRA Textbook (kept by student)
  • Training Video
  • Types & Characteristics of Handguns and Ammunition
  • How Revolvers & Semi-Auto's Work
  • Safe Handling of Handguns
  • Review of Laws Governing Use of Deadly Force and Concealed Carry.
  • Practical Carry and Home Defense Considerations
  • Proper Stance & Grip
  • Aiming vs. Sighting
  • Revolver & Semi-Auto Shooting
  • Proper Care, Cleaning & Storage of Revolvers and Semi-Auto's
  • NRA Diploma Issued Upon Successful Completion

SCHEDULE & FEES
  • Six (6) weekly sessions typically conducted weeknights.
  • Enrollment Fee is $95.
  • Ammunition Fees are assessed per shooting session.
  • All other required equipment and supplies are provided by Pistol People at no additional cost.
